We are currently recruiting for an experienced Estimator/ Quantity Surveyor for our client in the Milton Keynes area.
With over 25 years expertise in the industry, our client provides a comprehensive and professional service which covers groundworks and civil engineering.
Due to continued success, our client is looking to add to their current management team.
Our client customers range from local authorities and schools, domestic works for private individuals to commercial and industrial works.
Typical work undertaken are construction of foundations, drainage, brickwork and associated works for modular buildings, road and car park construction, repairs to bridges and similar structures and all types of paving, including repairs and resurfacing, landscaping and fencing.
Key duties and responsibilities will include:
Assist with the preparation and submission of tenders.
Assist with the preparation and submission of valuations.
Understand and be involved in the procurement process
Liaise with clients and suppliers
Be available to attend meetings throughout the tender process, as and when required.
Liaise with our Site managers whist contracts are in progress.
Be confident working with projects for both the public and private sectors.
The successful candidate will have experience within the civil/ construction sector and be confident liaising with clients within the public and private sector. Confident in preparing tenders and valuations.
