Salary: £35,000 – £55,00 + Benefits

Penguin Recruitment are delighted to be working with a multi-disciplinary building consultancy who have a very impressive portfolio where they have worked with some of the largest retail and commercial projects across the UK and Ireland. The company have been established for over 20 years and have always delivered quality for less expenditure for their clients. They currently have an amazing opportunity for a Building Surveyor to join their team in Leeds.

Your daily duties as a Building Surveyor will include:

• Deliver cost effective building services to our respectable clients, ensuring you are keeping close contract with them and maintaining relationship with new and existing clients
• Monitor your team’s workload, ensure you have the correct amount of resource and manage projects from start to finish working with tight deadlines
• Work closely with the marketing team as this is where you will get the opportunity to help expand the business further
• Ensure you adhere to all Building and Planning regulations whilst carrying all tasks and ensure they tie in with the company’s policies
• Work on producing planned maintenance, contract administration, Dilapidations and Technical Due Diligence

You will require the following as a Building Surveyor:

• Full UK Driving License
• Minimum of 3 years Building Surveying experience
• Experience with Party wall, Dilapidations, Contract Administration
• Some Project Management background would be ideal
• Excellent written and verbal communication is necessary
